About MeI'm from Arkansas and moved to Buena Vista in 2011 to attend Southern Virginia University. I finished my degree in Spanish and Music Performance - Voical in 2015. I've fallen in love with Buena Vista and decided to stay here in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.
Personally, I love to sing. I enjoy all of the arts and my main loves in Spanish are the arts: music, literature, visual art, etc. I married my wife, Karen, 4 years ago. We met here in Buena Vista, and as it has been her home for the past 14+ years, it has quickly become my own. |
The Program |
Currently, I am teaching Spanish I, II and III. I'm excited to be getting into the foreign language program here at PMHS, and look forward to helping it grow. As I get to know the students, I will be updating this part, and the next, so as to help you as parents, students, and potental blues know what the Spanish Department is like at Parry McCluer High School.

The Future |
I'm hoping to start up a Spanish Club to better facilitate opportunities for students to speak in Spanish. I also have ideas for a Culture Club so that there can be a way for other students learning other languages or who have been to or are from other countries to show the cultures and languages of people around the world. The future for both these clubs, as well as the Spanish Program as a whole, depend on student participation and want to progress languages here at PMHS.
